Ochem! Hmmm, not only is this blow battering, but the lingering pain is unending. Lord help me!
I want to stop the tears and relish all our beautiful memories, but it just won't stop flowing, because how could you remain only as a memory? Noooooo! This is tough.
Man of faith, severally you said to me 'Ochem, it will end in praise'. You said you owe me a lot, and I told you to pay me by getting well and joining my Sister and your kids soonest; Man of honour and integrity, why didn't you wait to pay the debt? Haaaa, indeed, it ended in the highest praise ever!
Only 'Us' know our adventures- our pains, gains, wins, losses and all the in-between. I thought we were almost at the victory line. Haba, it ought not to be like this Ochem.
You said we all have given too much and it was enough? No, we didn't think or feel so because it was for you- because, though you didn't have it all, but you also are not careful to give your all. So every sacrifice we made was because you deserved it and more. . Sadly, all of our combined sacrifices didn't count to make you stay. Yet, we judge God faithful!
WHAT A MAN YOU ARE! The blueprint of a perfect spouse, being my sister's biggest cheerleader and top fan, a total redefinition of the typical Nigerian Police and I never stopped wondering why you were so different. Ever prim and proper, outwardly clean and deeply pure at heart. A perfect gentleman.
Ochem, thank you for sharing your beautiful life with me as your younger sister, rather than an in-law; way back from our one room and one mattress sharing days.
Thank you for your lavish expression of love to my sister Hannah and to us all.
Thank you for your appreciative heart at all times, even for the littlest things.
Forever you remain my Ochem ( personal person) and I remain yours because you only transited from this earthly realm and you are alive unto God!
I look forward to seeing you at the sound of the second trump. I love you always my brother.

You were not only a husband to my aunt and a father to your children; through them, you became part of our entire family, and your absence will truly be felt. No words can fully express the pain of losing someone so deeply loved, but I pray that the beautiful memories you created together will remain forever in their hearts and bring them comfort through the difficult days ahead.
May God surround your wife and children with strength, love and grace, and may He carry the entire family through this unimaginable loss. May your children always grow up knowing how deeply their father was loved and remembering the legacy you left behind.
Rest peacefully, uncle Kole. You will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever remain a part of the hearts and lives of those you left behind. 🕊️
