Writing this today is incredibly difficult, but it is a privilege to honor you my able and gallant officer – Uncle K ( a name that I gave you that became a household name). You were a remarkable man who was so much more than a brother-in-law to me. You were a trusted confidant, a partner in laughter, a truly dear friend and a beautiful soul who brought a unique light into this world—a light that will stay with us forever. The space you left behind in our lives is vast, but the warmth of who you were will stay with us forever.

Above all, you were an extraordinary, loving father and a devoted husband. Your children and wife were your absolute pride and joy. Everything you did, every sacrifice you made, was to build a beautiful life for them and to guide them with unconditional love. The lessons, the laughter, and the steady protection you gave your family are a legacy that will live on through them forever.

You’re a true example of what true selflessness looked like. You always put others first. You were a person who would sacrifice your own comfort, time, and energy just to make sure someone else was okay. You give quietly, expected nothing in return, and constantly looked for ways to lift the burdens of those around you.

When you joined our family, you didn’t just marry into it; you embraced us all with an open heart. As a brother-in-law, you were steady, reliable, and always there when we needed a hand or a word of advice. Family gatherings won't be the same without your presence, voice, and the easy way you made everyone feel welcome and cared for.

Beyond family ties, you and I shared a real friendship. We talked about football, politics and everything in between. You knew how to listen, to make me laugh, and always showed up. You don’t judge; you just understood. What I will miss most is your gentle kindness, quiet strength and a deep devotion to the people you loved. You showed us how to be better by simply being yourself, and having you in my corner was a gift I will always cherish.

At the center of your life was your deep faith. You were a true lover of God and found your greatest joy in serving Him and serving others. Your faith wasn't just something you spoke about; it was how you lived. You walked through life with a servant’s heart, demonstrating grace, humility, and kindness to everyone you met.

Thank you, my gallant and able officer, for your example of what it means to love deeply, give selflessly, walk faithfully, years of brotherhood, friendship and memories. You are gone from our sight, but you will never leave our hearts. Rest in the peace of the Lord you loved so much, my dear brother and friend. I love you but God loves you most.
